Once upon a time in a land not so far away, as a young man with a guitar rode the no. 36 bus to Victoria, a strange thing happened. As our hero gazed around him at the sullen vacant stares of his fellow passengers, the drizzling gloom of London and the world beyond the windows, full of drudgery and dissatisfaction, he suddenly understood the truth.
This is not how things are meant to be.
As this epiphany took hold of the young man, the world around him warped. Suddenly he could see them! The EvilAntiFunkAzoids were everywhere! Alien creatures surrounded everyone he could see, gnawing down on their souls and preventing them from getting their stank on. The whole of Planet Earth was under attack! Their purpose - to destroy Earth by bringing people down, one by one.
While the young man grappled with these new horrors, he happened to look down at his guitar. Many times he had thought to himself that this guitar had saved his life. Now he had an idea. He reached to open the case - and the air around his fingers crackled with energy. His fingers closed around the neck and as he picked up the black Fender Telecaster within, it began to glow. He lifted the strap over his head; he raised his hand, and he strummed.
As the chord reverberated around the bus, the EvilAntiFunkAzoids began to recoil from their victims! With mounting courage, our hero turned to one of his afflicted fellow passengers. He strummed again - and the EvilAntiFunkAzoid screamed! Our young man, now transformed to a guitar-slinging warrior, moved closer. He opened his mouth - and he sang. In this strange new world, our hero could actually see the notes leave his lips. The song hit the EvilAntiFunkAzoid square in the face - and to our hero's delight, the creature exploded!
The young man had found the answer! As he continued around the bus, using his humble weapons of guitar and voice to destroy all the EvilAntiFunkAzoids in his path, it became clear to him. He was Supa Soul Brotha Del, endowed with the power to save Earth and destroy the EvilAntiFunkAzoids with music. He had come to Earth in his spaceship to save mankind from the EvilAntiFunkAzoids - and of course, to search for his true love.
As he alighted the bus at Victoria Station, Supa Soul Brotha Del knew that this was just the beginning of an extraordinary musical adventure. As time went on, Supa Soul Brother Del would enlist a Supa Soul Army to assist him on his epic outer space musical mission. The Professor - one of the leading authorities on the Legend of the Groove, his chosen weapon the keys. The General - a man of few words but an indispensable friend on the battlefield, who would play a bass guitar fashioned of thunder. And MegaTal - part man, part metronome, the Young Master of the Groove would in time choose the drums as his weapon of mass funkification.
That afternoon in Victoria Station, Supa Soul Brotha Del embarked upon an epic quest. With the Neutronics, as he would come to style his army, Supa Soul Brotha Del's twin missions would be to free mankind from the clutches of the EvilAntiFunkAzoids, and to find a lady like no other.
This is his story.
